I was watching the episode 'Dateline: Miami' last week and I realised just how great the young Dorothy and young Stan were and how alike they are to the 'real' Dorothy and Stan. They really picked great actors to play those roles:

You really can imagine both Dorothy and Stan looking like that when they were young. Lyn Greene has all of Dorothy's mannerisms totally spot on.

I was thinking the other day when looking at a picture I have of how good they were! I could imagine Stand and Dorothy like that when they were younger. By the way, how old do you wreckon Lyn was and Dorothy was supposed to be in that photo?

I agree Sam.

Especially Lynnie Greene who played Dorothy. She had all the Dorothy-isms down to a tee and you can almost imagine her as a younger version of Bea! And I never noticed how alike Stan and Younger Stan look.

Lyn was 37 at the time, she was playing an 18 year old Dorothy when she announced she was pregnant. :)

She must have had a big ego boost to be near 40 and cast as an 18 year old. Ditto on everyone's comments on her Dorothy-isms. She should've won an award.

Like everyone who has replied to this topic so far, I think Lyn Greene did a fantastic job of portraying a young Dorothy Petrillo/Zbornak. She had her mannerisms down to a tee! The actor who portrayed a young Stanley Zbornak was just as good too!

I agree with y'all. Lyn Greene really did do Bea's mannerisms good!
